PREMIUM OIL COOLED

The PREMIUM OIL IMMERSED Line of Cathodic Protection Rectifiers is the highest quality rectifier available. The same high quality components as found in the PREMIUM air-cooled power supplies are used in the oil-immersed units. Power components are mounted near the bottom of the tank on a removable chassis to provide for proper cooling. NEMA4 cabinets are polyester powder coated to give a superior, long life finish.

Features include:

800-volt silicon diode rectifiers with complete surge protection.
Single or three phase inputs.
High quality metering with 2% accuracy.
Standard ambient temperature rating is 50C (122 F)
Meets NEMA Standards MR-20, 1958.
Built to requirements of NEC, 1996 and/or IEC 79-6 Class 1 Div II hazardous areas (unit shown) - optional.
Accessibility provided by lockable, hinged lid.
20 steps of output adjustment are standard but any number of steps are available. Tap studs are soldered to transformer leads.
Fully magnetic circuit breaker(s) are standard. Housed in Class 1 Div I housing on side of tank with optional X type units (as shown).

Units designed for hazardous environments have all internal components located a minimum of three inches below cold oil level. Circuit breakers and meters are housed in Class 1 Div 1 enclosures attached to the end of the tank.
